The Greatest Stories Ever Told

We think about the Bible as a book, because that's really the easiest way for us to categorize it. But It's not really a book. It's more of a library (which is what the word Bible means) with a collection of stories. But what makes it special is the unity between these stories: common themes, recurring ideas, and the breakneck race toward the unveiling of Jesus Christ at the centre of it all.

The Bible has this unity because it is the greatest story ever told, with the author and editor as the God of the Universe.

"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and editor of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2)
